I was sitting at my computer working on some new collections for next year. They are private charter tours in addition to our regular wahle watching tours , when all of a sudden the ocean lit up like there was a huge spot light out there it lasted less than 5 mins. Here are a few images I capture. I was lucky in that my camera and tripod were setup on the deck cause i had just 20 mins earlier taken a few images on the sky.
Here are a couple of them from this morning, feel free to leave your commitments below.
Best selling Jersey Shore Artwork by Bill McKim List 2019
There is nothing worse than looking at bland same old office artwork. Cookie cutter generic art makes you wonder. who the heck was in change of choosing the prints for this waiting room area that I am stuck in!
Please take a look at these and I will add to this post all week. I will be sure to name the images so that if you call me and say you want to purchase I know what artwork you are speaking of.
i do sometimes have artwork as small as 8 x10 or 11 x14 and have made artwork as big as 7 feet wide!
Please think of my artwork these next few weeks when you are looking for holiday gift ideas that are Jersey shore related and unique..
My watermark will not appear on you images, but I will of course sign them for you as long as I don’t hold up delivery of them to you in time for Christmas or other deadlines you may have.
Thanks
Bill McKim

American Bald Eagle flying over Belmar Beach November 14
American Bald Eagle flying over Belmar Beach November 14
I was sitting home doing some computer work working on family photo shoot photos. My phone rang it was one of my friends saying it was a bald eagle on the beach in Belmar in front of my house I was very lucky they had my camera ready and with the correct long lines to ship this image. Are used a Canon 5D Mark four with a 100 to 400 lens. This is one of my favorite lenses for Photographing Wells and American bald eagles on the beach in Belmar New Jersey.
Please take time leave a comment on these photos and share the link with your friends thank you everyone who is buying the 2020 Jersey shore photographer calendar that I produce each year you can get a copy this link here they are only $17.5 delivered
The eagle was sitting on the rocks on the beach at ninth Avenue in Belmar I was able to get a quick couple images then it flew away over the ocean then it came back to the exact same spot 10 minutes later I walked down to the beach I was able to make about 50 photos including where the bold eagle flew right over my head it was pretty amazing.
August whale watching trip off Long Branch NJ was amazing.
I will add the video I have it I just got a find it on my hard drive it’s pretty amazing August 18 I think it’s a date catch up.
I am looking back at the photos from our august whale watching trip.A humpback whale made a whale triple breach twice on the left side of the boat and a third breach on the right side of our 115 foot whale watching boat. This triple humpback whale breach all happened within 45 seconds.I said to the passengers on our boat, about 100 of them that they just saved thousands on a whale watching trip to Alaska.
‘Really it was an amazing sight, join us in 2020 We go whale watching twice a week every week. The season starts in late April till early November
Our guided tours are number one in New Jersey no other tour company can brag about seeing whales on 23 of 25 trips in 2019.
We guarantee you will see a whale if not your next trip is free! Join our email list bill@mckimphotography.com call or text me at 732.451.6003 Thanks Bill McKim

‘Sunday October 20 whale watching trip report
It was a rainy day on #jerseyshorewhalewatch but we still found the #whales and the #dolphins🐬 ! This whale is #tailthrowing for us. We had a free beer tasting hosted by Beach Hause Brewery. We had a great size crowd on the boat more photos to come. The band Guns 4 hire was setup to play on the boat we moved them inside with the bad weather but weather conditions were not favorable for them to play ..
