Sunday update: seems like you can park cars on most side streets near the beach as a non resident, if you want exact information the best source is the Belmar Police dept phone.
Saturday afternoon most everyone was social distancing but it does get a bit crowded walking
No parking on selective streets state of emergency cones going up in Belmar Today Friday.
Residents can park as normal

Instead of trying making it better for people with time that already elapsed in quarantine, they make it worse day by day. Any common cense or any scientific evidence would say that walk on the beach, fresh air, breathing therapeutic ocean air or like previous comment said fishing on open air is beneficial for anyone to boost their immune system. And chance of catching a virus outdoors 99.5% less than being stuck indoors! And yet the government is doing exactly opposite, just because they can, without any scientific back up that being outdoors on the beach is bad. Prohibits people from being outdoors blocking the access to the beach that just make peoples lives more miserable than they already are. Not enough that millions of people right to work and support themselves was taken away for many weeks already and for any unforeseen future and they left without jobs and any kind of way to be able supporting themselves and their families, and now just to stick it a bit more, let’s close the access to all beaches to any out of town people. Great job in continuing torturing lots of people! And very good to teach people to snitch if they see any unfamiliar cars parked in their neighborhood, like it’s not enough anger bitter people that are ready to do all kinds of bad things that they would never do in normal circumstances.

Why are blocking usage of beach area for fishermen and fisherwomen technically you don’t own the beach because the feds put the sand in too replenish it and do you have the riparian grant too do so which was a law enacted moons ago which states you actually don’t own the land above the 100 year flood l plain
