Breeding in only a few large colonies along the North Atlantic, the Northern Gannet spends most of its life at sea. Flocks engage in spectacular bouts of plunge-diving for fish, with hundreds of birds diving into the ocean from heights of up to 40 meters (130 feet).

April 3rd, wow this morning the sky screamed look at me! I was mesmerized by its beauty and it was one of the longer brilliant sunrise, the kind where for 30 mins you just stare at the beauty and watch people pull over on their way to work to photograph the sun rising over the ocean,

Sunday's Snow covered beaches Jersey Shore Belmar Avon By The Sea

A couple photos from high above the beach Sunday morning in Belmar and Avon Nj, looking north towards Asbury Parks snow covered beach and south towards Spring Lake beach.

Many people came down to see the sunrise on the first day of the year. I was able to take photos with my camera and my DJI Phantom 4 Quad copter. Later in the morning about 11am i saw a whale about 1/2 mile off the 10th ave Belmar beach. What a way to start the new year 

A magical morning at the beach, this might make the cover of next year's calendar!
